The point was indeed to get it trending. I was also hoping to get a tiny bit of support from eBid themselves when I launched it, turns out it wasn't even worth the courtesy of a reply, after mailing...

we started, and then stopped.... We need everyone to push and as much as we appreciate the odd 4 / 5 people every week, it's not enough to make it where it needs to be to really push the site, sadly....

Onwards.... but I really do wonder what will need to be done to move eBid onto the next level and bring in those buyers.
