Sorry for the late response!
Just change this to your ebid username.
Basically, yes.
Correct again.
I've done some updates since the last update to the OP, but I want to make it a bit...
Hmm...
It's something I am thinking about.
At the moment I've got a rough and ready collection of code fragments that works for us, that now keeps ebid updated should any sales go through...
Whilst we continue to wait for the (Shh!) proper API...
Would it be possible to see the following additions to the spreadsheet/csv bulk upload facility please?
- Ability to add barcode (UPC or...
I forgot to mention .. if you are using the SQL in the OP within PS's SQL Manager, you will have to amend AdminRequestSqlController.php -
change : fputs($csv,...
That will handle attributes/variations quite happily - see e.g. http://uk.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?title=CraftThings&mo=user-store&search=alphamini+capsule - each colour is just a variation of the one...
We use Prestashop for our inventory and such direct sales as happen to find us.
In case anybody else does the same, the following bit of code will create a csv file compatible with eBid's bulk...
Still no answer on that one ...
Next question - how do I specify both a MPN and an EAN ? At the moment I'm appending the MPN to the SKU field, but I'm pretty sure that's not helping with...
Get a Free Moshi Monsters/Mega Blox blind bag worth £1.99 if you buy just £10 of other items from our eBid store this weekend :-)
Or if you don't like Moshi Monsters, opt for a Skylanders Keyring...
Guess I'm in trouble then .... or do we have grandfather rights? :-)
But that's my personal web address anyway; (The webstore is on a different domain.)
Using the csv bulk upload, is there a way to edit listings without resetting the remaining time?
The spreadsheet help says:
o = "overwrite" .. this will edit a currently running auction of the same...
Ta for all the welcome backs :-)
I thought it was 2.50 .... (fees page agrees.) not sure it's worth that mind.
Yep, I'll change that on next refresh.
Well, we're back after an extended absence... (I even found £12 still in the pppay account ... from 2004 !)
In the meantime we had a daughter, whom is now six, and so we're now mostly selling...
nudge.
Has this been sorted out yet, or are we stuck with manually uploading images and then trying to tie random url's to our own products?
Exactly! I can generate listings direct from our local database in about three mouse clicks.. 20, 100, even 3000 listings in an instant, for whichever site I want to list on. (Even adding a new...
Mark, maybe you could let me know if the auctions I emailed on the 3rd May are ever likely to appear???
This sort of delay seems to be a regular occurance. Having to email the same spread sheet...
and is the fee based on start price or end price?
Yep I've seen that one in the past. I did email the boys about it, but think they have been busy with other things...
For the standard spreadsheet, you can paste multi-line text into the cell value box at the top of the screen, not into the cell itself. This works fine. :-)
I never have taken anything out in normal auctions; indeed, it's beneficial to put as much formatting in as possible - makes the auction look prettier!
Yep ... you can have as much feedback as you like, but until you register a debit card with the site you don't go up to Silver, and you can't sell unless you're Silver...
They charge £2.50 from...
I think we are signed up for pretty much every common payment method, but much prefer nochex - it's nice and simple. The only one we charge extra for is paypal, though have just signed up for...
Don't worry ... most users need telling twice before they take any notice anyway!
While I'm here would like to agree with the oritinal posting ...
I WOULD like to see slightly more informatin on the subject line - eg a note if the auction was successful or not ...
Hi there ... firstly... although linked, pppay and ebid are seperate systems, and it's possible to be silver on one and bronze on another, have different logins, etc... You also don't HAVE to...
It should just appear -- which auction is it?
If it doesn't appear shortly (these things are all database driven, and can take a few mins to appear) try clicking back on the link that you got in...
At the moment, if you host your pictures anywhere other than on ebid's gallery (eg, your own webspace or some third party webspace) then they will appear on the listing pages. If you use the eBid...
(Hmm .... why can't I edit [or delete] posts in this particular forum, to correct typos I only noticed after hitting submit?)
This is a stamdard feature of HTML.... several spaces always translate to a single space, usually at browser end. (Habitually I always put two spaces after punctuation as I have was taught long ago...
You should write to support@ebid.co.uk if the spreadsheet contents fail to appear ...
However, your problem may be as simple as the fact that you need to be Silver to sell - this is acheived by...
