    Re: Closing auctions early

There could be good reason for a seller to close the auction early, albeit that there is a buy it now price, such as a need to complete the transaction earlier than previously expected due to...

Is there any chance that you could put a pic of the mark on here so we can all see it. One of us may recognise it.

    Re: Pictures on auctions

A picture of the real article is a must where used books are concerned. It gives the potential buyer an idea of the true condition of the book, even with proper Independent Book Seller's terminology...

    Re: Craig Charles

None on here, and none on bookfinder - you're right, you can't get hold of one for ove nor money. I wish I hadn't turned a copy down a month ago. If I were you I'd keep searching the net daily...

    Re: Only in the UK??

Yes. I know what you mean f3. But the main results aren't paid for. I mean you don't need to pay to get a number 1 spot. The thing with google is that they provide results for MSN, Yahoo, AOL and...

    Re: Only in the UK??

Paid listings are shown separately (usually at the right hand side and right above the results). I have several no.1 spots and have never paid a penny for them (hehe). lol

    Re: Searching

I've tried to source you one without success. But you could try searching at www.bookfinder.com (they search through many of the top book selling sites) and had quite a few copies showing today.

    bigbang

I haven't bothered to read your replies, they are both verbose and irrelevant to the posting, but well done for writing so much.
  14. Re: What is the actual purpose of this forum?

Obviously I am under the mistaken impression that the site operators (or their agent/employee) respond to website suggestions. It seems that in some they do and others they ignore. If that's the...

  16. Re: What is the actual purpose of this forum?

Morning John. Me good? Hmmmm, the theory of relativity springs to mind.

Am I alone in wondering where the responses to suggestions are?
  17. What is the actual purpose of this forum?

Is this forum subject to 'selective hearing'? Out of what I think is 4 posts, only 1 response. Just curious to know what the idea/philosophy of this forum is? Is it like emailing Santa Claus?

    Re: Enhanced Listing Fees
