Would really like a reply to this one Gary please.
Gazza must be on a long holiday
I agree, all sellers and buyers, of which I am both, on various sites ask for is democratic Fairness for Both sellers and buyers alike, it appears we have that here.
Good result Gary, as deltatrade48 mentioned it really does sound suspicious on the buyers part.
For sure this reversal would NOT have happened on Greedbay as the fairness on this site has gone for...
We have been encouraged to join PPPay and yet we are unable to pay our auction fees by that method.
I always use payment by PPPay is preferred or welcomed in my new auctions and not just on this...
Ah del**mp I think you mean? I am with you now, member there too but very slow unless its stamps n' coins but I agree their system is excellent in that regard it is so simple to use.
Sorry about...
Sorry Tony, I answered the wrong thread, there are that many currently about Moneybookers.
Long time ago 2001 tho', things do change. I certainly have no problem with them now, quite the reverse.
They don't charge £25 Tony, they are not an auction site, perhaps you have the wrong site ?
Moneybookers is not an auction site. Moneybookers is the same or similar to Paypal but better, an online method of payment via email address and they do not do that sort of thing. You must have the...
How about:
Returns are only accepted if the description is misleading in any way or the goods are not as described in the listing.
I tend to use that on all aution sites, don't really think you...
They certainly were a fledgling business if only 3 years old and on limited rescources.
I can only speak for the today and I find them to be First Class and without problems of any sort. They...
Maybe it was teething troubles as they really have not been going too long if it was as you said a while ago.
PPPay could one day be regarded as the best, they certainly are the fairest, cost wise....
Gazza please have a look at this thread, in particular post 7.
We would be really grateful for your thoughts on this.
...
Moneybookers and PPPay are Excellent, PPPay is integrated and so easy and the most competitive of them all.
All you do with Moneybookers is request payment, it really is dead easy too.
There are...
I use Moneybookers and they are absolutely fine, not the same company now.
Moral of the story always give a second chance, if indeed that was them.
Just wish PPPay was bigger as they are...
I agree, it would be most useful especially as I am in the process of removing Paypal and Google checkout from my Ebid listings. It can only encourage Buyers and that is the name of the game.
I don't sell a great deal on ebid but strangely I have sold 3 separate item in the last week, the big surprise upon asking the buyers was that all 3 were re-directed via Google which is excellent....

I thought I had been charged but 50p, can't grumble and it seems the payment was...

Not sure, I will need to check on that. I will have a look and see if I was right, should have done that before posting really.
I must admit I prefer PPPay's policy and was offering a disount to...
Thanks for that, it seems that it is cheaper than the dreaded Paypal from that explanation apart from bank transfers, I have had payment to PPPay and I thought I had been charged, must check it out....
I was checking the charges for PPPay and it seems that we are charged 50p for sending a payment and the same again for receiving which makes it worse than Paypal on low cost items and recieving...
No worries Ruby, it is just Paypal playing their silly games again, I thought someone may be able to explain, it was not directed at you.
Yes Gaz, there are limitations on amounts but that really is not the problem. They will not issue Micro-payments for Individual accounts, odd tho' as mine is marked Premier - see the email I received...
If that makes no sense, them explain this:
Micropayments are for Business and Premier account holders only and Not Individual accounts, can't win.
Thank's anyway.
Good thread, useful info, thanks
Tis done, thanks for that link, brilliant for low cost sales.
Thanks raindropsies, you must be reading my mind, thanks gal
How do you open a Micro account, can't find any link on Paypal, please ?
