Hi,
I have a problem logging into the main ebid site. I can log into the forums, but when I try to log into the main site, nothing happens. Is there a problem with the site today?
Best wishes...

Hi,

I think that ebid should charge a little more. If this was the case, ebid could afford to advertise.
mmm, I know how you feel, I've haven't sold one single item yet, even though my goods came from an upmarket shop. However, many people are reporting increased activity, so I live in hope!!!!
I think the fashion at the moment is against sets. Does anybody ever sell any jewellery on here, anyway?
Yes, same here. My jewellery is high quality upmarket stuff, but so far, I haven't sold one single piece. Perhaps I'm selling it it too cheap?
I think thats a great idea, and its something that ebid should consider. After all, feebay has been quietly running an affiliate programme for many years.
The thing is, many of feebay's best...
Ideas like this could only work if there were plenty of buyers, and at the moment, they are pretty scarce.
Yes every monitor shows colours in a different way. They look fine to me.
Yes, but does anybody notice its their? I think individual emails may be a better option.
One of my auctions was deleted too. Actually, it was my mistake, I gave to identical headings for two different listings. You have to be sooo careful.
Thanks for the information, I think a lot more people are becoming interested in collecting paper money these days.
I love half crowns, they have a really substantial feel to them.
I wouldn't iron it if I was you, it will make your banknote feel thin and lifeless. Perhaps you should just build on what you have to start a collection????
I think you have to be a little more pro-active on here, compared to feebay. Fortunately, lots of people are reporting better sales these days.
To be honest, I don't think there's enough users on here to make that facility useful anyway. But who knows, perhaps one day?...........
Yes, this is very encouraging. To be honest, if it meant that ebid could afford to advertise, I wouldn't mind paying a little more in fees.
Well done, after one or two false starts, I sincerely hope this is finally the start of the big take off!!!!!!!!!
Hi everyone, just started selling on ebid after a break of several years. Love the new look webiste, so hope to have better luck than last time.
Thanks for the info, we should never miss an opportunity to advertise ebid!!!!
These type of coins have always sold at a premium to their raw value. They do seem popular, but I'm afraid if you're buying them as an investment, its money down the drain.
I sold another item yesterday, this is encouraging, but we all have to do what we can to promote this site. Sad to say that the vast majority of auction web site users, still have no idea that ebid...
I'm sure its nothing sinister, the company has nothing if it loses its reputation for integrity.
....But peopole on here are very helpful all the same!!!
I've recently come back after several years away. it took me about 2 weeks and then one customer bought 3 and then 2 more items. I've just sold another item tonight, but there's been a gap of a week...
Sales are slower on here, but things seem to be picking up. Tell your old customers from feebay that you're listing on here. Also, you have to actively promote your listings on here. Good luck.
Ah, well, yes, erm,...I didn't notice that. Having said that, I do think people do manage to sell things in the US.
You can get postcard catalogues which give you postcard values. Or perhaps you should post a few on here?
I do military, transport and naval. With interests rates as low as they are, its good to collect something that will increase in value.
Many people are saying that things are starting to pick up, I've had 6 sales in recent days, but to the same buyer.
I think customer service is very important on here, as repeat purchasers are...
Yes, I've heard quite a few people say that things are picking up. I wish ebid would advertise, but word of mouth is actually a very powerful tool.
