Re: Stingy sellers needless NOCHEX charge

I don't charge users for Nochex because the amount I get sent is the amount I receive. I tend to spend my Nochex money, therefore it never costs me anything to use the funds in there. Buyer may have...

Re: Making Ebid's layout more like Ebay

The main reason QXL is failing, was its decision to reintroduce listing fees.

    Simple as that.

    Re: Closing auctions early

Allow any seller to close auctions early providing that no bids have been placed. Could be a duplicate, item could have been broken, lost or stolen, sold at car boot (I've done that once  )

    Closed auctions

Would it be possible if when we close an auction early, the details are retained, so we can restart the same auction at a later date.

I've clicked on the odd delete in the past, and it goes to...

Re: Bug with apostrophes in auction titles

It is when you post a new auction,

It did the same when I listed Shaolin's Road. It lost the text after the apostrophe.

I only spotted it after the item went live and amended the title.

Re: Default for type of auction

I think it would be nice if you could set your own defaults that the system remembers, when you start a new auction.

Things like payment options, auction length, number of reposts, and of course...

Could it be possible to have a default user specified text box that appears on all our auctions automatically.

E.g I would like to mention all the payment options I accept. I appreciate why there...
  12. Re: * CONFUSED * - RE ITEM LISTING COSTS ???

I'd like to convert all my auctions to gallery ones I think, depends on price. I'm sure it will be very reasonable though.

I must admit, I liked how when attaching a picture to a newly created auction, it gave the picture the filename of the title of the current auction you had just created.

    It saved entering...

    My Gallery

Is there any chance we can have name of the uploaded picture, showing in My Gallery. It looks a bit difficult to manage images at present with just the thumbnail.

  15. Re: How is everyone who comes into this part of the forum!!!

That's the local myth, good for the tourists and all that. :^o

Actual reason, was that the builders at the time 'Bodgit and Scarper' used lead tiles for roof, and a soft wood, and obviously the...

    Poll: Re: images & charging

All sites have to make some charges sooner or later.

When I first started to list on Ebay, there was on listing fee, just a FVF.

IMHO a site that just charges a FVF will always be the most...

Re: Adding Picture after Start of Auction

Once you have uploaded photo, there is a little link thats says "Use this picture in my auction" or similar.

You may have just uploaded the photos to your gallery.

    Hope the above proves useful.
