What I want is buyers. Ebay provides them, ebid doesn't. The selling fees maybe higher and it would be good if ebid was some competition, but I would rather pay for my things to sell than to...
Not sure about the posting my items on my facebook page, I'm looking on selling to my friends. Ebid is great in terms of being cheaper then ebay, but despite the efforts of many people over an...
Bump!
I have just listed a number of promotional CDs, with a special offer of buy two, get one free.
Please take a look at my items & search for CDs (there's a few regular CDs too, but they're not part...
Does seem unfair if the buyer left good feedback, as that is proof they both received & were happy with the item. But then that's feebay / paypal for you - the problem is they just don't care, they...

Anyone would think Paypal was run by the same people as feebay, oh wait - it is!
So they want to charge more fees for sellers to be protected against getting ripped off!!! Shouldn't this sort of protection be free?
I think the general feebay policy is that sellers should always be pushed to charge less on shipping etc to encourage buyers, but feebay should always be taking more & more money from the sellers....
Call an advertising company & pay them up front for a campaign!
I have some postcards listed that you might find interesting & plenty more still to list.
Surely the extra people signing up for & using ebid would make up for the cost of advertising?
Not sure about toys, but most of the keyrings & badges I have for sell date back to that period.
At least here when people leave feedback, you don't have to worry about any scores they're giving you which could get your account restricted!
If you want it removed, you've certainly got a case - it's hardly a neutral comment.
Shouldn't it be automatic that if a buyer doesn't pay the fees are refunded?
But I suppose someone could ask a general question about the seller's items or about the seller etc.
You need to look at the date & time of the bids. Some of these are maximum bids: astral276 put in a unknown maximum bid on 25 Jul 2010, then each time another bid was made ebid automatically out...
I've had a few NPBs, but haven't bothered added them to the blackball list as they were new members who will probably not be seen again.
You need to have a link to your items as part of your signature.
I agree, most buyers will figure out that the postage cost is in there somewhere.
People do wear the full burka in the UK. And although this discussion is about the head gear, it does encompass the burka as it is unlikely someone would wear a burka without the head gear.
The...
This is a good point - there are genuine reasons why you need to see someone's face. Also, contraversial though it may be, people are already suspicious of muslims because of terrorism (which is the...
Personally I don't sell things I would like, because I wouldn't want to sell them otherwise! I sell things I no longer want, or things which I have been given to sell.
I guess a lot of people have never heard of politeness!
Muslim head gear that covers the face should definitely be banned, it is very disconcerting to not be able to see someone's face & it is a security risk.
Also it is part of the muslim oppression...
I don't agree that we should all buy items we probably don't want. How well ebid does should be about genuine sells, not on ebid sellers feeling like that ought to buy something, anything.
Some...
The word lady should be used very sparingly these days - it really doesn't apply in most cases!
Bank transfers are free in the UK, but don't know about other countries. I believe you can only transfer to banks in the same country though. I think it's certainly worth offering because their no...
For a low value sale I agree to send the item. Probably wouldn't hurt to contact ebid for their advice if this happens in the future - especially if you sell something at a higher price.
