Lol I have to say its a unique scam, they never cease to impress me with their crazy stories.

When this happens to me I usually will nto bid as it is taking a chance the item is not suitable or not as expected. I just get frustrated and move on usually.

But if a seller is not answering...

I dont think its thats extreme between the online auction companies yet. Because ebid is not a threat at the moment as it has very little bids on items and alot of admin problems.
