Maybe try going to advanced search and check completed listings and look at items similar to yours to see how well they do here on ebid.

Ebid always replies and promptly so there is more to it like maybe check your spam folder or did you provide an actual return email address.

I am because it seems like its counter productive. It makes the shelves look empty. The categories are cumbersome and there are to many. People search by keywords and rarely use categories.

Why? Because I think people are inclined to want to try something new and current users would get excited and list more due to the new apps.
