    Thanks, for your help Majesty, its so silly but being told I didn't know what I was talking about really got me, so somer has printed off so if necessary can show them, but think will more likely carry on & do the post when we go to Wincanton which is at least 3 times a week.

    Hydrangea is lovely, have a pink one that I brought from the IOW 24 years ago & still doing well, Have managed to propergate some more from it I looked it up on line & was easy & infact am just trying to grow some more, the first one I did has come flowered well & the other one has so much folige on it that needs repotting , which hope to do this week.

    @HerMajesty, @Maplegin

    You can take a lot of the bushes and take a branch and bend it to the ground and cover with soil.
    Eventually with watering and such, that branch will start rooting in the soil. Then just it away from the bush.

    This hydrangea is neat.
    It sprouted like a tree.
    It has a trunk and hasn't done the root sprouting to be bushier.
    Here's a picture of the "trunk" of this "bush".

    The phlox are very full this year.

    Finally have some time off and it's on and off rain.

    Good to know! Thanks, Police! And those phlox are so pretty. I used to have some.....they make such a nice splash of color at a good height.

    Hi Maplegin

    Been really busy in gardening everyone else's gardens.

    I have a large project where I cleared out a wooded area of all the kudzu, raspberry bushes, nettle, tickweed and such.
    Created a path through it and started with plants and seeds to make it both domestic and native planting.
    Today, they asked if I would take over the lawn and garden care. They really don't like the people they have.

    Here is the big project I am working on . . .
    This is the wooded area that has been cleared and plantings have started

    These are gardens that have been updated and new rock work done.

    The biggest project is adding a double waterfall with a swim pond and other smaller ponds with waterway. Sergio was doing the layouts and rock work here.

    This is from the back where the water drains, filters and recycled back up to the top waterfall.

    This is the swim pond that is being filled.

    The pond is filled and the second waterfall is in place, when I checked today ( no pictures of this )

    We had a triple digit temperatures with humidity.
    Then some relief.
    Now we have a few more days of high 90's and humidity.
    Just sweaty days and hardly can do any work.

    @Mandart
    So sorry about your fractured shoulder.

    I remember when I was in high school and my horse slipped and rolled over me.
    I ended up with a broken collar bone.
    I was put in a harness ( not the horse) that covered the break.
    I ended up with a huge calcium deposit on the bone that caused problems if anything rubbed against it.
