The Benefits Advisor Social Worker (whateversheiscalled) based at Forfar came and filled them in for us - she knows what they are looking for - some of the questions asked for explanations and I would have gone on for ever and ever lol. She also asked for a copy of the decision to be sent to her Department which hopefully means they will read it properly. So fingers crossed for Jean.

Morning - been quite busy as the defunct Hotpoint washing machine had to be disconnected as being collected later today, Been and bought an all singing, all dancing Samsung machine to replace it - that's being delivered tomorrow morning 1st thing. Just hope it lasts longer than 3 years unlike my last two which were both Hotpoints.

Chap that's taking the Hotpoint repairs and reconditions them and sells on to fund his Open University fees.

Apart from that, getting ready to receive our visitors ..................................

Morning - cold here after a sprinkling of snow last night.

Found a book after searching the house last night - right where it should be on the bookshelf downstairs! It's going to Ireland.......................

Little grandson arrives tomorrow night - think we're about ready for him and his parents Still a bit to do so better get a move on.............

Have fun with that baby. Seems like just yesterday I was cuddling our granddaughter and now she is a Mom herself. Love the time I have with them.

I was doing well today and made myself route march into town as the weather was dry but on arriving back I was just defrosting and taking off my great coat when I had another surprise attack from a newbie. I shall have to take a trip to the mess to recover - I mean come on, my fingers hadn't even defrosted enough to pull the rifle trigger !
