Glad to see that all things are as usual Overcast this morning, but I don't think we have had any rain. Done canteen duty and made 3 jars of pineapple jam. Not much from 3 pineapples, but it tastes yummy. I forgot the bread again, so it'll be the other half of the Pannetone, and should that not be enough, there is another in the cupboard. Mil seems to have picked up a cold and lost her voice. Might have to get the GP to visit. We will see how things are tomorrow. Started the second dress last night and then I can concentrate on the YDC makes. It's only another 2 weeks Have a good day. Mine will be busy

Morning - managed to get a lie in for a change. Haven't slept so deeply for a long time

Did anyone watch the VE day concert last night? Very moving, especially Jane Horrocks' reading of a soldier's last letter home.

Have loads of new stuff to list, so back to researching and scanning ...................... as well as another mug of tea to help me along !
