I know what you mean about the asbestos.
My house is sided with slate (asbestos) siding.

The front porch was enclosed and sided with asbestos. So, during the day I would spray the siding down with water. When I was dark outside, I sprayed the last time, had a mask on and ripped off the siding and bagged it. The wetness kept any loose asbestos from flying in the air and the darkness kept the neighbors from knowing.

I have a roofer coming at about 5 pm so will see what he says, i have someone who will take it to the dump in proper bags it's getting the rest of the sheets of stuff off as well, i think there are 6 big sheets of mixed stuff as well concrete something or other, it's a huge shed and it needs to be for all his junk he has collected.

Asbestos has been banned in the UK since 1999 and I found this today for info (removing asbestos) Billy has run a roofing company and had to be licensed to do this work.

he is licenced but we are taking it to the tip as we dont pay if we take it ourselves and the tip give us the bags free, our council used to pick it up but now you have to take it there and it may not have to come off as yet if it's not broken, i think there is just a gap between the corrugated sheets of the concrete bit but we will know tomorrow

Hot and humid today and I am glad that I was working inside my client's home.

Got home and look at my hollyhocks.
I use to have yellow ones and double petals ones.
You just don't know what will appear.

It's getting close to harvest catnip.
I haven't seen the praying mantis that like hiding in it.

I love hollyhocks. Always reminds me of my childhood.......had hollyhocks growing by the cellar door, and my grandmas grew them.
Sorry it's so AWFUL up there, Marie - we have to get a grip on pollution/climate change, and it looks like it will get worse before we have a chance to make it better. Stay safe.
    Ta-Ta for now!

The hollyhocks were always around the outhouse. (Yes, I used an outhouse in my very young years. Then the landlord put a toilet in the house. He put it in the basement. Us kids, preferred to use the outhouse. Didn't like the basement.)

What I noticed on climate change:
The winds. I think it's from all the fires across the USA and Canada.
The forest are there or "restarting" from the fires and the winds has nothing to "drag" against, so the wind can pick up speed across the country.

I think the axis of the earth is on a different tilt. (Not the variance from winter to summer tilt)
I have years of sunrise and sunset pictures and pretty much the same location of these pictures.
The sunsets were normally between the 2nd farm down silos during the summer. Now, it'a over the farmland to right of the silos. There is a difference with the winter location, too.

I noticed a lot of the changes through the years.
I worry about an earthquake and I am in the midwest were there is mostly no earthquakes, but I have notice changes in my land and the stones walls had some changes.
    It is scary.

    Police lovely flowers,

Buttons hope the shed gets sorted, & that you can reclaim the kitchen floor soon, be careful because as soon as I clear stuff Somer manages to fill the space again have managed some space by clearing a bit from the shed & so have manages a bit out of the kitchen like the hedge cutter.

To add to it have had to take Dave (the dog) to the vet as he was coughing anyway they don't think its that they think its a virus, anyway have to keep away from other dogs, which should manage. there is a lot in the village dogs. so will just be keeping away from otheres. always some thing also work men digging up other side of rod so could b interesting
