    @Cats

Brrrrr. There are times where I have been without power and heat during winter for a couple of days. If I didn't have to work, I would go down to the library or a store to keep warm. I finally purchased a kerosene heater and I will use candle with the clay pot warmer.

The wind has been sharp today. Just hard to function.

Nowhere to go here Police, everything was off - all shops cafes pubs street lights the lot. At least we had water, the loo worked!!!
Bitterly cold outside, just let the cats out - and there were in again 5 mins later, they are in for the night now.
Forecast slightly milder for the next few days, no rain or wind due.

my windows have had a sea salt bath and can hardly see through them. nurse has been and signed mike off and given me a roll of blue line so in other words do it yourself ( thank you so much). I feel like crap today and foot / toe is hurting like hell, think the poor little thing is cold

Bit rainy, bit windy, nothing like it was but very cold ... brrrrrr..

nurse has been and signed mike off .. same old same old
Cold does make the bones ache, no matter how high the heating is on - roll on Spring

Maple, mask wearing has always been mandatory here but too many do not wear them / do not believe they work / feel special by saying 'I am exempt'
.. I wear mine, even answering the door for deliveries even although most put the parcel / goods inside the front door then step back.
Still not visiting cafes or out for pub lunches etc - not worth chancing I don't think. Luckily I like my own cooking

    Another dreary, cold day.

Getting anxious for tomorrows project. I did get a call from the electrical company reminding me that the electricity that they will be turning off the power.
Praying this project will go smoothly.

I did write letters to the congress people about the new proposal of 1099 and the small sellers.
Still need to write a letter an attorney. I have it outlined. But need to have some control of my wording.

Just had local news on - This is the 4th night without power for a lot of Angus and Perthshire
and they may not be reconnected for days yet.

East Haven STILL has no power - and it is only 1.7 miles from here - usually a half hour walk .. this is so unreal

That is awful for people. And the government wants us to go over completely to electricity.

That must be difficult for them. What if they run out of beer?
