Yesterday was in the 70's and I had to work, so I didn't get too much done on the computer since I disconnected for the storm.

We had tornado warnings and winds going 70 miles an hour. Power was out for 8 hours.
It use to be that I was the only house on the outside circuit. When then built the house across the road, the electric company moved the circuit to another telephone pole and the new neighbors are on that circuit.
It's great only because, in the years pass, I would be without power for some days not knowing I am the only one on this circuit.
I now can look across the road and see if they have power. Of course I see those mini computers/ cell phones? are on by that glow. (PS. I don't have a cell phone or use WIFI. I am still old school and hopefully can make it out of this world without this)

Temperature yesterday was 70 degrees and this morning it's 40's.
I am so grateful for what I was able to get done during those warm days.

I have to go out and pick up branches and the rest of the day, working on the shop: pinning, working on the weebly site, and processing items to list.

Lovely sunny morning after rain all night.

The Old Sailor's care home is in lockdown - again - thanks to a member of staff testing positive. So no visits until next week at the earliest depending on a 2nd test for said member of staff.

What an exciting life we lead at the moment - I've unloaded the dishwasher; done the relists; had my breakfast; so what's next? Maybe get the hoover out !

But first a mug of frothy coffee and a Rich Tea bikkie.

Ello troops. Thought you might enjoy a virtual route march around the city of Bath as found this little film that was made during the first lockdown and the city looks so peaceful !

Garden bins have been emptied so I guess that's my queue to fill them up again. Haven't been feeling too well this week, have had some issues with digestion and chest pain again, so just praying it's not more gall stones that are blocking ducts this time. Lol, at least I know it's not my gall bladder as no longer have one ! Will see if it goes away by next week if not then I will have to try and contact the doctor. I'm just hoping it's something I've eaten that hasn't agreed with me and that I don't have to have another operation.

Now who was on guard duty ? I was out at the P.O. dealing with parcels from another site and came back to find a bomb in disguise has been planted !

Sgt hope you will be okay, just have to be good & take it easy. Our Garden bin has just been emptied, so means I can start again as well. have enough to do without the garden have spent most of the morning trying to sort out things for MIL, so have plumber tomorrow afternoon, & another workman going on Sunday as her conservatory roof a panel is slipping so he will deal with that & check the others, certainly keeping busy, its certainly hard to sort things in lockdown.

Annie so its hard again about visiting The old Sailor, seems so though on everybody the paper is full of it that people can't meet & see the people in homes

Anyone for a jam doughnut?? Better hurry....

I was 'invited' along to Tesco this morning to get me out of the house for a change as himself knew I would meet up with old work colleagues there for a chat - and, boy was it busy.
Now having a mug of frothy coffee and a doughnut....

Then onto a few new listings.

    Stay safe all.

So I’ve had a huge argument with Billy because he gave me £400 to buy a new Christmas tree and decorations. He said whatever was leftover, I could keep and spend on chocolate

He's mad at me now because he doesn't like the tree I picked out!!!

What should I do?? I have already spent the leftover money.

    This is the tree. *♀️

You should of spent the left over money on a tree topper and a tree skirt.

I think the tree is quite something - just point out that minimalist is the 'in thing'.... Money well spent...
