Morning - feeling very stiff and awkward at the moment after a busy day yesterday - hopefully will improve as I move around.

Listings all safe so will make a start with the postage editing - later.

Think we're going to the local auction viewing this afternoon as himself is still after some tools for his man shed. I see there is a box of photo frames which looks interesting - and we need a few more for our family photo wall.

Time for more tea and toast.

Well, Annie. Even if we are stiff, it looks like we need to be on hand since Sarge and meebo will be keeping to the barracks most of the day. Hope they are soon better. We better keep the tea, coffee, nibbles and special sauce (off limits to you, Sarge) topped up today.

Yep - a bit cool out. Mr Pheasant was around again this morning. A few days ago he came with his lady, but haven't see her since, so she's probably nesting. One year we got to see a pair bring their little chick into the garden. That was a treat. We have at least 3 baby bunnies gamboling around (gambol, not gamble). So sweet.

    Ta-Ta for now!

Meant to tell you Private Majesty we had a green woodpecker drinking from our pond the other day and then it was hopping around the garden for ages. So lovely to see.

Oh and err I think one of Private Meebo's 'special' coffees might be just the medicine I need (Changes from green to white at the thought of no special sauce !)

Breakfast time for me then back to Ebidding.

I'm losing weight again. Billy suggested I eat salad with just vinegar for a dressing and I'm like "Why would I want to put cleaning fluid on my salad?"

Moonie - you are a riot! Cleaning fluid. ha! Well, that's what most of my cooking tastes like, anyway! We've had a green woodpecker show up here from time to time. Often on the drive just outside the windows, where I put bird see. They are SO pretty! And we get the woodpeckers here in the winter when it's cold and I have the fatballs out. Otherwise they hide in the woods behind us.

Philpott has had a cold for two days. Spent until 1pm in bed yesterday, and the rest of the day snoring and spluttering on the sofa. Today he got up about 9, and is sleeping on the sofa again. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

    Ta-Ta for now!

After the council fitted a new kitchen for us, behind the sink was getting quite marked. I asked a local handyman to just put up 2 rows of tiles as a splashback for me. He arrived at 11.30 and is finished already. He has to come back tomorrow to do the grouting but its looking fab.

Good morning! After a bad day yesterday, I appear to have a bit of energy this morning (long may it last) Mind you, I spent a lot of time sleeping, in bed and in chair, so I would expect to feel better. Off to the canteen shortly so see if there is anything I fancy eating. and to make tea and coffee. Not much planned for today, but that is fine. So I will probably around.
