Couldn't face cleaning the deep fat fryer again ... so I ordered the same CookWorks 1.5L one again from Argos as I bought 2 years ago - ordered at 4pm and they had a 7-10pm delivery slot and it arrived at 8.40 pm - so pleased. Chips tomorrow then ...

Police where do you get your energy from can you bottle it & sell it, think a lot of us would like some of it.

Had a sharp frost overnight, but wrapped up & had an enjoyable walk with dogs, the forecast said 2 degrees but think should have been -2, it was a chilly wind.

It is cold up here, no frost yet but a bit nippy - went along to the PO about lunch-time (yes a sale a sale hurrah, don't tell sarge)
and had a thicker anorak on than usual.

Haven't seen any Xmas trees in windows round here yet Maple - I brought my stuff to the front of the cupboard in readiness.
Diagonally across the path there are two wee ones aged about 3/4 and 5/6 I think.
I wait until their stuff appears before I put mine up so they can be first!!!

Got my house/contents insurance renewal today for 10 December - gave them a phone and hurrah it is paid.
Think that is all the 'annual type' bills for this year.

Another Christmas savings tip

I was at a client's home today and they have a Christmas tree up already.

My energy comes and goes and I have to take advantage when I can to get things done.

I did rake leaves yesterday and then the wind started. I did manage to get most of the leaves under the pine trees as mulch. But the winds got to be 50 miles per hour.
I did do some more raking down towards the road and the high winds took the leaves across and down the road. Just have to love it when the wind works with you.

Suppose to be in the 40's today and maybe I can get something done outside.
Tomorrow in the 50's but I have to work most of the day. Then it's to drop down in the 30's.

* I have unplugged items for next week's electrical project.
* I only have one clock in the house (besides the on my desktop) which is the microwave and that I have unplugged.
* So, I purchased a battery operated, big, round clock with a second hand.
This morning, Alfalfa was on the bed staring across the room. Took a couple of steps and still staring hard. He saw the clock's second hand moving. Goofy cat. But, Alfalfa did catch a mouse yesterday afternoon.
