Slept most of the morning, lunch, put more washing on, then slept all afternoon
    ...now catching up ...

... tumble dryer did nothing - panic
    try again - panic
    Deep breath
    Do not scream
    Do not kick machine
    Stop - check
Set to 0 not 90 mins - hum ho that'll do it
Working (which is more than can be said for me!!!)

Coffee is good. Going to read my book till time to mash tatties for tea
then 2 hours of Midsomer Murders with lovely John Nettles

Anyway today has not been a good one here either ...
    roll on tomorrow?

Private Buttons has a brain ?!!!

Well got the Old Soldier's shower and legs done at long last and managed to get into town albeit late. I met a really nice lady from Malaysia on my travels whose son goes to Bath university, we had quite a chat walking down the street together. She asked me where all the charity shops were as the Bath antique shops were so expensive and she now knows all about eBid ! I gave her my business card to make sure she doesn't forget !

We are having a weather event here. Right now the sun is shining and it is raining on the back of the house buttttttt not the front, There is thunder and lightening all over the valley and a very gentle breeze blowing. Crazy!

Been a busy day. Still selling a bunch from Craigslist.

Now that is an interesting bit of weather information, but where is the snow and hail? anyway, good morning. I am pleased to say I feel better this morning after sleeping most of yesterday. So maybe I will get one or two of the things done that I want to make. None involve a great amount of physical effort, so there is hope. Time to make tea and coffee and find some bread. The gardener is coming today, so let's hope it will stay dry. Sun is not essential
