The red warning has reached the South East so our council has suspended bin emptying today.

I will check in my sister later as she lives in a beach house on the south coast

Here in Somerset its got a lot worse in the last 2 hours, [power cuts ) & now rain, just rechecked torches,

Now I.ve started the cold that Nigel has & his Mum & now they seemed to have given to mem . Think we will be staying in.

got a little windy here now and stopped raining for the moment but it's so cold we have an apparent temp of 1c, have turned the heating up a deg to 24 but am still frozen with a numb foot to boot,

I'm really getting a bit worried about the caravan on my drive in these winds.

Especially as I never had a caravan on my drive until half hour ago...

Wind chill -3 below. What snow melted is now ice.

* I feel so bad for a client I have. They have 3 dogs and 2 of them are having a pee off. When I clean her home I have been finding their pee spots and it's ruining the floors.
* Yesterday, when I cleaned for her, I noticed some dry spot outside a Christmas tree skirt. Sure enough, one of the dogs did their business and it looks like some of the presents are ruined. (They haven't had Christmas yet, because some of the family members have/had Covid or working 12 hour days.
* I felt bad giving her the news, but I rather have her check the presents for any damage before they finally are able to get together for Christmas.
* When I am there, I get the dogs out when needed. The problem is that this woman's polio came back in her latter years and having a terrible time.

I managed to get some more promoting done on Pinterest.

Now, going through fabric and seeing if I can work on some other projects to sell.

SE Wales...wind dying. we didn't get crunched by any trees landing on the house, but one fell across the road here about 60' from where we are. Sticks and who knows what hitting the walls of the cabin we're in all morning and afternoon. Glad it about done.

Well, does anyone want a greenhouse frame? Our greenhouse has had it .... most of the panels have blown away. They are expensive to buy, (clear perspex plastic stuff whatever you call it) and I'm not prepared to spend any more money on it. We have replaced the panels many times, I guess it's just too windy here.

well nothing happened here we had high tide at 12 and i think the prom is still in tacked, it's rained a bit but not really windy just a strong breeze just darn cold put the space heater on to warm up, god help my energy bill but i am not sitting here shivering
