Thread: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!

Humph, I didn't get my garden bin emptied this week Private Mcc2. I don't know if it was just me or the whole street as other people had taken theirs in before I discovered mine was still full. So annoying as I've got so much stuff to get rid of and I bet they won't come back and empty it even though I've reported to the council so I will have to wait another two weeks. The Bath dump is still not open either so I can't take the garden waste down myself. My hedges will be getting out of control again with all this rain.

The skip he hired has still not been collected, it should have gone last Monday and the builder has left loads of rubble and stone lying around outside and will be back tomorrow to make even more mess. My lovely house really does look like Steptoe and Son inside and out, I'm just heartbroken.

Thinning granny's bonnets - how could you! They are so pretty! I didn't have as many this year as usual. Not sure why. I think bunnies may have something to do with it.

I bet the Old Sailor will like a new tv = good way to pass some time safely.

Sarge - that's frustrating when the bins don't get picked up. It's not some bank holiday, is it? Calls for some Special Sauce, I;d say.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Sgt sorry to hear about your garden waste, we had the whole village not collected on Thursday so they came on Friday, hope yours gets collected, it gets hard to know where to store the garden waste, am afraid our granny's bonnets are nearly over as well but they do look lovely.

Relists delt with again, there always seems to be some to deal with.

Sunny here at the moment but they are threatening rain & thunder this afternoon.

Who set the smoke alarm off at 3am - as it wasn't me! So not feeling 100% yet and it's very muggy out there with thunderstorms threatened for rest of the day between sunny intervals.

Today's big excitement is waiting for 2 parcels to be delivered by Hermes and then get the ironing board out to iron the name tapes in for the Old Sailor ready for Thursday.

Oh, and we're out of wine I've just been told...

Oh, Becky, there really is nothing to say except please accept a virtual hug.

Attempt to welcome a seller was not just ignored but removed - so I won't bother again.

Hurrah, the drilling has stopped and the builder has starting the plastering. The mess everywhere is just unbelievable and that was from just using a drill and not an angle grinder. Thanks for the hug Drill Sergeant Madelaine it is much needed.

I know he's now talking to yet another woman from the smirk on his face while he's using his computer (I know him so well after 42 years) so I suppose my next step is to go to a solicitor for advice about the things he has proposed. I think some of the solicitor's might be opening up again in Bath so I will phone tomorrow to find out.

Now there's someone around here, who should know better, that has gone and left a couple of live bombs in disguise stitting on my eBid page ! Disgraceful behaviour! (thank you ! xxx)
