Just to let you all know..... Pam had another mini stroke in the early hours.... The paramedics checked her out but didn't take her into hospital.... There is too many covid cases there.... She is sleeping at the moment.

Oh crikey, it's all doom and gloom at the moment isn't it ! So sorry to hear that Corporal Somerset, I hope Lieutenant Maplegin makes a speedy recovery. Give her a big hug from me and one for yourself while you are about it. x (Don't tell anybody though, Sergeant Major Cornish's reputation must be upheld !)




Heard last night that the Old Soldier's cousin who is a similar age to me has tested positive. Thankfully don't think she is too bad though and her senses of taste and smell seem to be returning.

Have had to postpone until tomorrow as managed to get another tum upset so staying close to home today.

Thanks all, am feeling fine just going to be sensible, & am going to have take it easy, mind have just done the relists.

To add today we had arranged to take on a 7 year old Jack Russel, from a lady who has tomove to where she can't have dogs & then going into the Police force in Bristol. So dog arrived at 11 & has had 5minuets sleep on Nigels lap other than that has been charging around turning all his toys out but has now gone & sat on the settee, Our neighbour has offered to take the dog out , but with this weather & the fact he has asked to go in the garden will leave it to tomorrow. So quiet an event full week, hoping next week will be easier, Should be a bit easier as the carer is now going to go in twice a week & more if we want, so thats good.

Annie hope you will be well to see the old sailor , Sgt glad you had a good time, Buttons hope life improves for you & Mike , Hope you have Plenty of Chocolate with the change, Penny hope you will feel better soon & be able get the test done.

What a bloody awful year it's been. I do hope all who have not been well soon recover, though we have never met I feel that I know so many of you. I don't pop onto this thread much these days but do take a look most days.

So here's to you you all and let's hope for better news soon.
