Holding their noses works too, take hand away quickly enough for him not to suspect you were trying to suffocate him though! And sometimes getting them to turn over can help too, especially if they are on their backs.
Oh I sympathise Sarge with being deprived of sleep!
Failing all else maybe keep the rifle nearby and threaten to use it! (Even the sound of it going off as a warning may help)?
Lovely day here, slight showers in between but sunny again now.
Im just deciding where to go to do some shopping, Im not a shopaholic at all, far from it, but every now and again I do like to go somewhere nice (I have Bath in mind) to do so

Cut the ivy hedge yesterday. Looks much smarter but had to handpick all the bits of ivy leaf out of the Cotswold chippings, raking them only makes it worse. What a job that was!

    Have a lovely day.

Glad it was nice enough to be out! Maybe next time lay an old sheet down to collect the droppings.....pull it along the length as you go....easy to fold up and carry off to compost or bin or whatever.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Good morning! I've had my coffee and have done some eBidding.

    Lost 0
    Listed 11 new
1481 running and 35 to relist = 1516 right now

Added one extra to replace the one with a bomb that will close tomorrow.

    Time to shovel some snow.

    Cheers.

That might be the only way private Sal. Before I could kick him and he would turn over and stop but it's the blerdy sleeping pills the doctor has put him on. Now I kick him he turns over and starts all over again !

Ooooh let me know if you are coming to Bath Private Sal (starts running through all the best pubs on the main shopping streets in her mind ! )

Thank you for the report about Monday Private Kite I might have known the update would be put on eBid elastic time !

Really?? It was a waste of time me keeping my fingers crossed all morning at the market then... Now we'll all have to go through it all over again...

Snoring is such a pain Sgt., I agree - I think the only answer is to get to sleep first but unfortunately I never seem to manage that...

Rushes in at the sound of Private Angel's shiney new army boot crossing the barrack threshold ! A warm welcome to the barracks Private Angel. Let me escort you to the mess (mine's a large gin and tonic) for your little induction talk on how to guard those 500 listings with your life to get us to the glorious 6 million listings mark !
You will do very well in this army Private Angel as long as you list everything that isn't nailed down and only allow window shoppers near your stores (oh, and to keep Sergeant Major Cornish's glass topped up )

.. Welcome to the eBid Army

watch out for the Sarge though - she can be a right tartar if you lose any of your precious listings ...
she is all smiles during the Induction Drinkypoos ( which you pay for of course)
but lose even one little listing and you will be peeling tatties and cleaning latrines
    - until someone else catches her beady eye that is..
