Christmas Eve day.

Wisconsin USA is still having that winter blast.
We really didn't get much snow, it's the wind that is bad.
At the end of my driveway, the plow has gone by and it's no more than 8 inches, when normally there would be 2-3 feet of piled up snow.

At least the sun has been coming out here and there and there should be an end to this blast.

Best Christmas wishes to all those who celebrate here.

My son is planning a visit for Billy's funeral on the 29th so that's a 'looking forward to' event at this end.

No doubt I'll be napping for much of tomorrow but will drop in here to see what everyone else is getting up to.

My only cardigan is missing after Billy's family dropped by to clear the flat of much of Billy's stuff and the heating has had to be switched off so I go back to bed when it gets too cold.

Just popping in to make sure everything is still tickety boo and that you are all still behaving yourselves in the barracks ! I'm now divorced, as of the 1st Nov, and still avoiding the air raids in Bath but the house goes on the market tomorrow on Boxing Day !
I will be so sad to see it go after 40 years but trying very hard to look on 2023 as a fresh start, still very down about it all though I have to admit. I have my brother here for Christmas as his lady has gone down with covid so have managed to get him booked in for Christmas lunch with me at the local. Yippee, no cooking and washing up for the first time ever !!!
I have also been cheered that my lovely man from Indonesia (who grew up in Bath), that I met last June, has been back to stay with me for three weeks at the end of November / beginning of December so that was a great early Christmas holiday for me.
So I'm surviving troops, just want to know where I'm going to be setting up camp next and then I can get back into the swing of things with new listings !

I managed to get into the living room by 4pm today and as I am fasting, I'm not at all hungry.

I had a lovely video call with Gavin (son in Hampshire) which was really fun. It was good to see him and Jen preparing for a yummy dinner today. They gave me some ideas for the next time I fancy a roast dinner

Suppose we should be grateful we don't have to bad of weather managed to have some heavy short but sharp showers, gather they are threatening that we may get some of the bad weather that America has just had lets hope we are all okay with it. stay safe everyone.
