Thank you so much for the good wishes troops. Have arrived at the Cornish outpost so will try and clear my mind for a few days and drown my sorrows with Spingo !
I think he is going to see a solicitor while I am away so will wait and see what he says about that when I get back, that's if I don't find the locks changed !

OOOh, did someone mention Spingo?
Sarge, I think pte Cats advice is pretty well spot-on. (Don't let him win. Hang in there - you are stronger than you think)
Don't be taken in by any of his scaremongering, any reports from him regarding what his solicitor has said - demand proof. You know what a low bellied, venomous forked tongue snake he is.
In the meantime, try and enjoy your time away from all the trauma, the eBid army wants you back fighting your corner with your bayonet sharpened!
Maple, we have lots of Gladioli, they seem to spread, I'm sure we never planted so many ! We leave them in the soil every year. Our biggest problem is the wind blowing them over, they need spiking up.
Thanks for the advice about the Gladioli yes they just keeping getting bigger & taller all tied up now, hope to leave them in that case.
Sgt enjoy your trip, bet Cornwall is busy from what they are saying about the roads. make the most of the trip.
Hello Folks, been absent for a few weeks. Life got in the way. Was nice to see Linda (Carnoustie Cats) pop in. She is right you iknow Sarge, let him stew.

Sorry to hear you news Becky and agree with the difficulty of buying something affordable as I am looking to move and unable to find something in my price range, keep your fingers crossed something may turn up but it is a very stressful time at the moment, I have a friend who has lived in her home for 21 years and has just been served an eviction notice as her landlord wants to sell her home to buy something else where he can make more rent money and spend less on maintaining it, not that he has done that with hers, however in her favour being over 60 the local council have to find her something else in a similar setting because she rents and the eviction is no fault of hers.
I have now decided to put off my move until next year in the hope I can cut back more and save more.
Anyway chin up and think things can only get better, easier said than done luckily you have family to support you.
As for him I'd make an effigy of him with blue tack and stick pins in it, my late friend did it as a joke with a boss of hers and it fell off the wall into her cup of coffee, the next morning he was late in, fell of his bike into a large puddle on his way to work and had to go home and change, perhaps if we all made one we might just strike it lucky with one. 🤣🤣🤣
Becky, "What his solicitor says" is his business - you need your own advice, as you know, so just ignore it.
