Thanks for the welcome, same faces as when I was here before. Trying to list as much as I can, there doesn't seem to be a danger of any bids going on. Never mind onward and upward...

Oh no...Buttons! Perhaps your other half thought the egg on toast was his birthday dinner lol

Billy says he loves egg on toast so maybe he'll get that for his next birthday dinner too

Good morning! Poor buttons, though if Mike didn't remind you,it couldn't have been very important to him. Hospital was fine. I am staying off the tablet til Monday, when they will either reduce the dosage or go to plan B - a different drug. Today is Clive's turn for hospital visit and on Monday it's both of us - different hospitals, different parts of London. What exciting lives we lead!
I have got to think of something to eat for breakfast as I forgot to make bread. It could be pancakes as they don't take too long, or I might just skip it. We will see. Off to make tea and coffee now...

Morning - thought I posted earlier....... Not with it again this morning as high winds and rain again during the night kept me awake.

Fun and games in our quiet little road yesterday. Mid-morning, two police cars turned up and parked outside a neighbour's house; then a fire engine arrived and folks in hazard suits were going into the house. Piles of rubbish started appearing out on the front lawn [the man that lived there was a know hoarder - he used to go around the local rubbish bins collecting rubbish and taking it home] About 5 hours later a van with 2 men in black suits arrived and we could guess what had happened. Don't envy whoever has to clear the house out as I gather it's piled high with rubbish. Very sad as I gather he refused all offers of help.

Off to view the local auction this afternoon as himself is still looking for tools and I'm looking for photo frames.

Time for another mug of tea.

Mornin' troops. Grey and grotty on the parade ground here today.

That's a very sad story Private Mcc2 such a shame the authorities couldn't help.

Oh dear Private Buttons, hope you are not too much in the doghouse !

Now my blood pressure is still matching yours Private Meebo as somebody crawled under the wire last night and nicked a book, I thought my bookshop was totally fortified ?!
