Pt kite i feel for you in this weather as well, i hope they get you in soon and sort it, I don't envy you the Tramadol, they send me bonkers and they had me on 4, 3 times a day at one point, thats what had me talking to the umbrella in the corner of the bedroom, so if you start talking rubbish we will know why.
Big hugs being sent (((((((((X)))))))))
"" Had word that O/H had arrived in Honduras at about 2.00am so at least he got there O.K.""
well at least you can catch up on your sleep now sarge
How long is he in Honduras, Sarge? Enough time to catch up on your beauty sleep? Talking of sleep - it's my siesta time, or I won't make the concert
He is there for two weeks ... that's if he ever gets out of the murder capital of the world !!! The first week they are trekking for miles through the rain forest and sleeping in hammocks studying the wild life. He also has the chance to do work up in the canopy of the forest. The second week they all get dumped on a deserted island somewhere and the only other people there are scientists and they study the marine life. They have to be very careful about contamination and even have to wear ecologically friendly sun cream so it doesn't pollute the sea around the island.

Keep taking the lard[/QUOTE]
I don't think that even the miracle properties of lard are going to get me out of this one. I even tried mixing it with rancid skunk entrails,,, but to no avail. I will have to keep on with the pain killers, even though they are opioids.:-((
i take 4 tramadol a day, was on 8 but they put me on amitriptaline and meloxicam so they could cut the tramadol. none of these have ever made me high or affected me like they do some folk. I actually found going to the osteopath, getting a steroid injection and having accupuncture together with the pain medication and the better weather has made a huge difference. i still get pins and needles and my hands go numb but its not as painful as it was at the start of the year. I feel for everyone who is in pain or under the weather as it can bring you down so low.

Please have a look. I combine postage wherever possible.
Given that Milton Keynes General was on the list of failing hospitals back in January (and I've had first hand experience of their impressive lack of care), it looks like we're well and truly stuck here in Bucks.
Having said that, my few experiences with Stoke Mandeville have always been good.
Mael, lucky you that you don't have any side effects from the tramadol. They sent me hallucinating as well. Luckily, I've only ever needed them for a few months.
