Morning all, like Annie with the windows open its lovely at the moment,

Have to get ready for the steam fair that we are doing just down the road from here, the fact that its 5mins drive means we can manage it but think we will both have had enough by Sunday tea time.

Morning troops. Had a lovely lunch yesterday but I was melting by the time I got there. O/H in his wisdom had arranged to meet our friend in a Chinese restaurant that was right over the other side of the city and it took 3/4 hour to walk there in the blazing hot sun !



O/H and Cadet Malcolm have gone to somewhere in Bristol today to do a days work experience for some corporate team building event firm. Rather them than me in this heat and they don't even get paid for this first session ! Still it could mean paid work in the future if they get on alright so I suppose it's worth it.

And English (or Welsh) bus pass doesn't work in Scotland &, presumably, vice versa.

A shame but that just means we will walk everywhere on our Edinburgh visit.

I just didn't see the need for me to take one as it's only one stop into the town centre, so didn't bother.
Am having comp problems at the moment, keeps slowing up and not enough virtual memory Think my baby may be dieing.

If I am going to Liverpool my Scottish bus pass means I get a much reduced price because the journey is only paid for from the border so last time it only cost me £37 return from Dundee to Liverpool

Well I have gotten my relists done!
I listed a couple but the pile seems to be growing!
Spent most of the afternoon with the cutest--sweetest--happiest little Great Grandson anyone ever had. I really hate to brag.
I think my loss the other day may be returning to the fold. No payment or response. Another newbie. Will wait a day or 2 and try to contact them again.

Sounds like all of us seem to have the same heat. It has cooled here a bit but still warm. Smoke has cleared out of the valley but the fires are still burning. Some of them are about out. so hopefully we won't have anymore starting.

Good morning! I am getting so absent minded. But let's not dwell on that. After yesterday's rain it's nice outside and it promises to be a fine day. Might even get some washing dry.
