Hope Sgt didn't get caught in the rain storms as when it came it was bad,

Hope everybodys painting jobs go ok, we have today had bannister rail fitted we had them one side but Nigels Mum found it hard work so now have them both sides, so now another job to the list they need painting.

The road here is still closed but they hope to pen by teatime when we came back from the PO there were traffic lights so looks as though they will open 1 side of the road hope so as The village has the pageant this weekend & if not there are going to be some very unhappy drivers.

Annie you said about children going to school does that mean your area not having the hols there here all the schools are off.

Sinuses blocked, splitting headaches, aching all over ... so slept most of the day.
Just popped out shopping so am all stocked up and can be ill again tomorrow if I want ... hope not though.

got up, went back to bed, slept till 12, got up again, lunch and now i am going back to bed. I had a very stressful day with Mil yesterday and I think my body can't handle stress abymore. Just eaten a bar of nut chocolate. See you tomorrow - maybe

Thank you all for you good wishes. They must have worked as I feel like my old self today. Outside it is raining again and it is not so warm. Hard to believe that the month of May is almost over. Barney Rabbit discovered yesterday that he can climb stairs, so I think we will all have to remember to keep the doors shut upstairs or it will be very difficult to keep tabs on him. I have made tea and coffee, remembered to remove the washing from the dryer and then forgot to take it upstairs. Well, I am not making a special trip. It can wait. The carer should be here soon unless she is catching up on sleep as she only returned yesterday from attending a funeral in Uganda. I'll be around this afternoon I expect, so be good

Morning - raining here again also.

Had lunch with my mother-in-law yesterday - is it only 3-4 weeks since my father-in-law's funeral ? She's coping well and getting things sorted out. She's also thinking of going on a river cruise later in the year - possibly down the Rhine. Having seen the tv ads, the boats look impressive.

Managed some more listing last night so my numbers are creeping up again + i found another box of postcards that need scanning, so think that's today taken care of.
