Great pics, Becky! Thanks for sharing....so nice to get views and info of places I've never been!! And I love the old soldier's painting!!! Wow! Really nice! In a museum, no less...............he should be quite proud!!! Love the colors and the designy nature of the piece!!

Great views......and such an interesting shot of the harbor!! Didn't know that's what it looked like!!

Got back two days ago from my daughter's baby shower, and other daughter's birthday, and a family memorial service. Slept till 3 pm today, so will be on night guard duty for a week or so till I adjust back to this time.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Good morning. We were woken by Mil at 3.30 wanting attention. I gave up trying to sleep some more an hour later. I hope OH has managed it or we will both be grumpy all day. It's wet and windy here and not very warm considering it is now June. I am having a telephone consultation with my GP to review my meds so will have to be in the house waiting for her call. Just spent half an hour working out my average blood pressure. I am not taking BP today, because it will be far too high. Better make tea and coffee and see what else I can do without waking anyone that isn't awake already...

Good morning. Sorry you couldn't sleep, meebo. Me, either. But because I am still on Colorado time zone. Will maybe crash and burn in a couple hours, tho would rather stay up and just plow through the day so I can sleep tonight.

It's worse to be wakened from sleep than to miss it altogether.

REALLY windy and rainy here this morning and during the night. Birds were singing awhile ago,, then the wind picked up again and carried them into the next county.

Was very windy and rainy all last night and the kitchen roof leaked again all over the darn cooker, just rang Ian up to come and have a go at it, this morning we have blue skies but don't know how long it will last. I think we are all going to end up back in bed.

We have a plumber on the way to us at the moment Pam as the dam water pipes have started banging again and the noise from the tank in the loft is terrible, I don't want another flood so getting it done now.

Glad you got back safely Private Majesty sounds like you have had a busy time.
Lol it did surprise us to find that painting there. My house is full of them, here are a few of my favourites. Apology for the dreadful light reflections !

Private Meebo I really feel for you. I have come down from my weekend away with a crash rather than a bump and reality has just hit me again !

Private Buttons would you like me to give the navy a call to help bail out your quarters again ?!

Right I had better get on with some washing which is overflowing...

... and then get on with some new photos.
