Updated and printed the address labels for our few Christmas cards. Now to write a short round robin letter to go in some of the cards, and then tomorrow, start writing said Christmas cards.

Good morning. One of our smoke alarms keeps beeping. Strangely only at night and the intervals are not consistent. It is driving me mad, but as it is not very old, OH doesn't want to do anything about it. ( we are talking less than 6 months) I am off to make some tea and prep the coffee machine. Then I shall get the hoover out and hopefully not wake OH. Mil is quiet. she is getting weaker and her breathing has been rather fast the last couple of days. When all is done that I need to this morning, I can make a start on another blankie. If all goes to plan that will be finished and posted before I fly to Germany on the 14th. OK, that's it for the time being. Have a good day everyone

Silly Billy left me sleep yesterday evening so I have stayed up all night to catch up with all my Saturday jobs and have now just completed all of my littlr Sunday morning bits and pieces.

In theory this Should mean I can have another pyjama day today but in practice I will get a nap in a bit then groceries will turn up around noon.

I am willing to bet that teenage stepdaughter will turn up with her latest drama as she is on home leave from a medium secure psychiatric unit and Billy thinks I am the in house volunteer mental health support worker for anyone in his family who wants one......hmmmm

Meebs - got two new new alarms a couple of years ago - one fine, other defective - bleeped when it felt like it, quiet for a few days then off it went again, eventually it was on the hour every hour. Tried everything then eventually gave up and removed it... the other one still works fine
