Good morning. I have a Little time before visiting the chiropodist. Then it's a trip into town to do some Shopping. After that, visit my mum and cook her lunch. And the rest of the day will be spent entertaining her. I might suggest a game of Scrabble. Have good day

Nice to here you TanteGrete, enjoy your time & have good time with your mum

All this talk about chip fryers is making me hungry.

Kettle has boiled if anyone is thirsty.

    Plenty of bread for toast.

Ello troops. O/H spotted the Old Soldier sneaking a glass of wine up to his room at 8.00am !!! When I questioned him later his excuse was that he had a dry mouth, having slept with it open, and he wanted something acidic. Now this is a new one on Sargeant Major Cornish and may well be a very good excuse for the future !

Right off to see the nice people at the P.O. ... just to make sure the troops Christmas post is getting through of course.

travelled down to Ayrshire yesterday and home again today so i am exhausted. I just cannot manage the walking any more. I have to sit down every couple of meters Made for slow going. But most of presents delivered except for 2 boxes which i will take to PO tomorrow after driving lesson. Need to find addresses for cards dont know what ive done with my address book. I shall be buying my mince pies as no-one eats them anyway.

Hope you sleep well tonight Penni. My address book also went walkabout - or operator error? Who knows? Who cares?

I don't like mincemeat at all so have never bothered with them - one of my aunts had a recipe for mince pies with actual mince - lovely
    - don't have the recipe though - silly billy me.

Soon be over thank goodness, not a great fan of this Xmas malarkey

Nuts and seeds, peanut butter, eggs, cheese, milk, yogurt, meats of all kinds, beans....I like mixing all kinds of beans to make chilli, to which I also add frozen or tinned corn (maize)....corn and beans together make a complete protein. Lots of things are possible. Gluten is mostly in wheat, barley and rye, and some people are sensitive to the type in oats. Check labels. xo
    Ta-Ta for now!
