Thread: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!

Hello everyone, I'm so sorry I messed up with the YDC auctions.
I have had so much going on these last few weeks, but I'm back home now and very glad to be!

There's no place like home ...... after stuffing my face with three or four course meals three times a day, forced to drink copious amounts of free booze, lazing by the pool, I shall look forward to getting back to normality. Washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning, child minding, gardening etc. etc. ..... doncha just love it? (NOT!)

I ran a BBS over a dial-up modem. Much more fun.

Tea is made - if a little late - as been catching up with all the Osprey hatchings that happened over the weekend - including 2 in Wales!

Very odd weather at the moment as lashing down at front of house and bright sunshine at the back! Really weird.

Welcome back Trish - sounds as if you need another break away to recover!

Time for another mug of tea.

Agreed as I did the same.
Then we moved to a cabled area and the web arrived. Alone now, but current speeds are :

    Download: 170.7 Mbps
    Upload: 12.7 Mbps

That's on wifi as I'm seated approximately 20 feet from the hub. I have no problems with streaming, and despite the nostalgia, have no real desire to go back to a 'phone line. I do not use cable TV (why would I?) so pay them £47 p.m. for my internet and all my phone calls.

On the "let's fiddle a little" front I use a dongle (R820T2) to "pick up" on aircraft movement, information which is added to a very wide database so that positions may be tracked. Not quite as much fun as the BBS but it keeps me off the streets!

Thanks for the welcome Annie ....

Now then, you wouldn't be tempting me to start packing again with that rather fetching Lanzarote mug, would you?

Ello troops. You can just stay put for five minutes Private Tropical ! It's about time you did some guard duty as I had another direct hit yesterday ... they must have been well disguised !

    Somer enjoyed remembering Sgt.

Well, as you may see Somer was with it this morning to go to Car boot even brought me a cuppa, We went to carboot but disappointed, bought our selves some Cds Books again for selves, & 1 lot of PC>s not as good as usual, think the idea that might rain has effected some who didn't turn out, it was chilly there at 7am, we were back home by 9, did relists & things & then went to MIL's with the dog, while out in the garden with dog Somer saw him slide after the ball, & dog is now having a bad rear right leg looks like the paw as he will let us touch leg, if it isn't better will take him to vets tomorrow. He likes the stairs normally & can't mange them, Will keep a close eye, he still wanted something when we had something to eat, he walks okay on 3 legs.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Mornin' troops. A busy day today, dentist, pulling my hair out with YDC payments and packing parcels. I had better have extra 'special' coffee this morning !
