Maybe it was the marathon training or the daily 40 mile hill climbing that Buttons forgot to tell us about.

As you said, daily exercise is recommended for our health anyway.

Must be all those Welsh hills that did it

Hospital has just rang he is still the same and is now going for an MRI to scan his spine. I have packed a case and had to put my PJ's in as he has none, his eldest son is supposed to be coming to take it to him

I hope he gets his jammies before bedtime! Walking is much more likely to prevent strokes than sitting is. It's not your fault, buttons. Have you got that in your head now? Glad he seems on the mend, and I hope they can give you good news and a full report soon.

Chilly now, tho it was nice in the sun earlier, even with quite a breeze. We picked up some ex-batt hens today, to join our little herd. They look worse for the wear, that's for sure. Very pale combs, and floppy. Missing lots of feathers, but it didn't take one long to be very friendly and let me touch her. They're all eating and drinking, so will let them adjust a few days in a cage within the confined run, so everyone can meet and greet. After they get their pasture legs, we'll let them out for what they will think is the best spa in the world......a nice little pasture to roam.

SIL and two little girls came up Thurs for a socially distanced............well, as much as you can with 2 and 4 year olds, afternoon. First we've seen them since Christmas. Had our elderly friend over for lunch yesterday, as his daughter and hubs were out of town, and he needed some company. First he's been over in months - he's 88.

    Take care of yourselves.
    Ta-Ta for now!
