It's raining cats and dogs here in Eastbourne.

I don't know about the cats but there are lots of poodles about

[QUOTE=maplegin;1722612]Morning all, Cornish Somer says its £3 sorry he thought he had said so.

Thank you troops. Totals now complete from last month's YDC so stats have been done.

A counselling session and drenching at the post office have made up my morning !

Good drippy morning. It's been dumping rain off and on here all night and into today. Black bird is enjoying the fat ball I put out on the drive by the living room window.

I see I'm too slow and missed a lot of my YDC treasures. Doesn't pay to be busy on the last day of YDC.

I've had problems logging on to ebid on Firefox. It makes me log in all over again. So annoying......it's something to do with firefox updates. It's messed up a lot of sites for me. Our heater has gone out, and Philpott doesn't want to get a repairman in due to covid, so we are running a little electric room heater. I put some soup makings in the crockpot, so will have a warm late lunch. Hens are looking goth and irritated by all the rain and mud.

Colorado got quite a bit of snow the last couple days.......it has really helped with the wildfire situation. Up in the tourist town of Estes Park, on the edge of Rocky Mt National Park, they got maybe a foot of snow. That will really help slow the fire, and maybe it will miss the town. The smoke is still affecting people all along the eastern part of the state.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Morning - after heavy rain and high winds we now have sunshine - long may it last as may have to pop out later....

Getting through my postage revisions - end result is I'm taking off all the heavy stuff for overseas postage. Can always re-do if someone expresses interest.

The re-cycling boxes have been emptied and are now full of water so they'll have to be drained. Apart from that, not much else going on in Lockdown.

Not good to read that a local care home [NOT the Old Sailor's] has several covid cases amongst staff AND residents.

Time for a coffee and a gingernut

Now I know how Moony feels when doing the YDC Tally thread! Any mistakes, please say

Another wet and windy day here in Mid Wales so I'm plodding on with my postage editing, etc.
Discovered that Hermes 'Postable' rate is a good alternative to RM's LL as it's a lot more generous in size.

Himself has just brought me a coffee and a custard doughnut!

Good wet and windy morning to you all. I hope you aren't getting blown away. I'm ready for spring. And sun. And warm. Brrr.
Looking forward to the pot of squash soup that's in the slow cooker.
Hens are already drenched, so they will soon go under their several shelters to get out of the rain.
Covid rates are way up here, so I think, since we really did quite well in missing out on the first round, that the new wave will be more serious. Take care!
I hope you all are doing well.
