Have managed to fill up the garden bins again with all the stuff my brother cut back for me a few weeks ago, brrrr it's a bit chilly out there, will have to get my winter uniform out of mothballs.

Now where's Private Hurry when you need her ? Despite Royal Mail doing their best to sabotage sales I do seem to have lost one to the USA !

I only ever use 2nd class postage when posting from home as it gets where it needs to go just as quickly as my 1st class mail used to

Yes agree Moony, just bought some 1st Class before they go up, but for all the Christmas & Yule post its all getting 2nd class postage

Good morning, grey, overcast day here with rain about. Our area suffered some flooding Friday but fortunately for us it was the other side of Maidstone so just watched a large volume of water charging along the river Medway towards Rochester.

Thank you Private Dart, glad you haven't been washed away. I could do with some of my 'special' coffee as have started plodding my way through the postage editing for the fourth time this year. Gawd it's soooo boooring, groan !




Don't Royal Mail think we have enough to do at this time of year ? I still need to decorate, ice my cake, wrap presents etc. Don't know when I'm going to get it all done ?!

morning all, well another dull & miserable morning was very frosty & foggy still a little fog about.

As you said sgt there isn't enough time to get things done think have written all the cards so thats a start & wrapped 2 presents

I havent written any cards as yet as i dont think we can get to post them, we have a tiny box in our road but it only takes tiny letters so may order some tiny cards, dull miserable day here in more ways than one, family members ( not mine ) just thinking they can just walk in and out ignoring the rules and laws, think I am going to have to put my foot down with a bang, you cant meet in your house or even in your garden seems to mean something different to them or they are deaf or just plain stupid.
