Well, the flooding in SE Wales has been topped with a layer of snow last night. And it snowed more today. Things are still cold and white!

Ello troops. No snow here but I just came a cropper in my garden when I went out to feed the birds. The path was covered in black ice and my feet just went from under me. Nothing broken as far as I can tell, thank goodness, but expect I will have a nice bruised derriere tomorrow so you had better get the nursing staff prepared !



I'm alone again too Private Buttons, my brother left earlier than planned to spend the rest of his recovery time with his new partner, who is in our 'care bubble', due to a really rather nasty email from him upstairs. My brother, bless him, didn't want me having any more hassle from the ex.

The ex hasn't once enquired how my brother is after his operation, he has known him for as long as he has known me. My brother was his best man and vice versa, and he has stayed at my brother's house for holidays for umpteen years. How nice !

Hope your back eases off soon Private Wicca, back ache is just so horrible. Private Majesty I hope you are not doing any extreme swimming when the snow melts !

So, who is this person harassing you in the privacy of your own home? I doubt you have any agreements about no company on the premises. What a Teeny Wieny Assinine Thing. Too bad your brother was made to feel he was unwelcome. I'd just have invited the partner over, too. The more the merrier.

What an absolutely despicable 'person' (for the want of a better word, I might get chucked off the forum if I called him what he rightly deserves).
Your brother must be upset, not just because of the nasty email, but because of your ex's apalling attitude towards you both. Pity your bro wasn't well enough to clock him one.
Hope everyone who is feeling under the weather - either mentally or physically - improves as time passes.
Just remember that the dark hours now are gradually getting shorter, and in a few months we may be able to feel the lovely sunshine on our faces once again. x

I need more than thermals, i just put my bins neat the gate for the men to come in and get them, and i also almost learned how to skate as well sarge, we have hail so thought it was best to put all the crap out before it snows
