"The weather man lied. We were to have some rain during these past few days and it all skipped this area."

Skipped us, too. All our weather men have noses like Pinocchio.

What I have noticed this year is that blue Herons are becoming a common site.

Normally, you would see one, maybe two, a couple times a year that fly through.
Now I have seen them quite a few times in one month and today, there was 5 of them in their group.
Interesting, they must like the gardens.

The past 2 days, I found a young wood chuck coming to the back of house by the rain barrels and pails.
    Grrrrr !
Need to set up trapping the bugger or he will dig a hole for his home somewhere around here.

I hope nothing else will unexpectedly show up.

    Darn, my sister showed up!

(This is my sister from more than 45 years ago and I had this made into a poster and gave it to her as a Christmas present. I'm such a good sister! )

Actually, all the weather forecasts I have seen over the last day or so have commented that the weather is very difficult to predict at present. Some places will get a downpour: others will get virtually nothing. They also predicted that storms will be slow moving. So as far as I can see the weather forecasters have not been lying.

Great pic of your sis, Police.............does she live near you?
Buttons - Philpott just put plastic silver letters on the front of our tank,, replacing the original vehicle name. Now it says......My Money Pit.
Rain dumping down the last few days..............just dumped again. I just left the laundry on the line. Rainwater rinse is good for your hair - must be ok for clothes.
    Ta-Ta for now!
