Trish. Social media and email are my preferred chat places, as you already know.

I will drop by to catch up with the long time members who have been on my eBid journey, but, as you know, I have other things to keep me busy right now.

May I suggest this book for anyone interested in supporting the site and it's members

    Finally it's cool outside.

Yesterday I was able to mow my lawn and down at the neighbor's farm.
I have all new tall weeds that sprung up with the days of wet weather and got those sprayed.
This morning, I will be at the farm to spray those weeds that sprung up there, too.
I also noticed a new woodchuck hole at the farm.

    Then it's weeding my gardens.
Weeds seems to love all that wet weather we had and managed to get through the mulch.
Planning on figuring out what I need to replace the garage doors.

    REVISED:

Because I haven't mowed for a few weeks from the "drought" and then all the rain, mice built a home in the engine of the lawn mower. When I went to uncover the mower and fill it with gas, I notice pink fluffy stuff. I had to take off the motor cap to remove a mouse nest.

Billy has gone out for the day with some family and an old Army buddy to a firing range.

I took this opportunity to put together my new rechargeable strimmer I bought weeks ago.

The plan is that I will wait till this evening and get out and see if I can get the grass strimmer without doing myself a mischief

I had to laugh at this. I took a screen shot when I was doing some searching.
(Background : I don't use the full monitor screen when using on the internet and such. It's too hard on the eyes, so I resize the open window to 2/3 of the monitor screen. Heck, you are only sitting 2 - 2 1/2 feet from the screen)

Because how I use my monitor, I screen shot "gr ass trimmer".

Yes, I have had trouble trying to figure out my problem when doing work on the computer and sometimes it is because I make the viewing work window smaller than the full screen view.

I just got a new ironing board cover and it's too small what a shame I already took the old one off

I did that years ago. So,I had the batting and covered the board with a couple of yards folded fabric and "snug" pinned it underneath. No problems for the past years except - - the cats like laying on it to getting a better view of the outdoors. (then I have to clean it before using.)

Should we vote for August to be renamed to reflect all the senior moments we appear to be having in this hot weather?
