Air Rifles??!!!
I've just discovered that since October last year, here in the UK it is illegal to buy an air rifle unless you are stood in a shop ... fine for those that are closer than 200 miles to a gun shop, but not so fine for me.
Does anybody know what the law is now relating to purchasing a second hand air rifle?
As far as I know you can still buy second hand rifles without having to go through the same registration process. However, the problem is that there are very few places selling them any more - it tends to be a "back of the news paper" job. You won't find them on legit auction sites.Originally Posted by ArtisanUK

I didn't expect it all to be quite so complicated and I'm mad with myself because there was one at a house clearance sale last year and while I was stood looking at it somebody else snatched it up.
I'm getting slow in my old age ...!
