Just an observation.
People will sometimes buy on auction sites as Buy-It-Now for convenience, so will not be ultra price concious . I have to confess though that I am pretty amazed how bad value-for-money a lot of goods are on auction sites. I have frequently seen things priced at well above the normal e-tailers, and even High Street prices.
From my own personal experience, I almost never find what I am looking for when buying computer parts on auction sites. Although I optimistically start there, I always seem to end up using the cheaper e-tailers for commodity parts. If I'm honest, I only tend to use auction sites for items that you can't generally get elsewhere. Commodity items all seem to be bad value for money. This is why I think Feepay are making a colossal mistake driving the small esoteric sellers away. Odd and unusual, is what they are best at IMHO
I agree with the comments above though. Nobody is duty bound to offer "to the bone" prices. Sellers will get what they can, nowt wrong with that.
