    Angry Why are ex-feebayers offering....

Paypal as a payment option??? Paypal IS feebay, so why on earth would you want to help feebay make any profit via this site?

I am a newbie from the darkside and disgusted how I was treated there as so many many others are and will never ever help the darkside no matter what.

The sooner peeps are weened off Paypal the better as far as I am concerned.

We are lucky on Ebid that as sellers we can choose what payment options to offer. Unfortunately most buyers like to use Paypal.

It's down to customer choice, if they want to pay with stamps I'm happy to take them

Buyers have been brainwashed by feebay - Paypal sucks - everyone knows it including many buyers, so the sooner sellers ween them off it the better. I will never give feebay one single penny again.

Touch wood, i've never had any problems with peepal......

But i've withdrawn it as a payment option simply because I object to such high fees, the company ethos and the fact that they are not governed by any Financial Standards Authority (they are not a bank).

    Nuff said

The best thing to do is get signed up for Google Checkout, and then point out that they can easily pay for them item using their credit card through Google checkout. Also Google is a well know brand, we just need to push it for all it's worth.

I prefer it if customers pay with Googlecheckout but most still use Paypal and I don't wish to turn them away.

Its a buyers market and the buyers want to pay by Paypal so thats what we do.
At least we can offer other options but i feel buyers are comfy with Paypal .
I tried leaving it off of some listings was big mistake beacause they didnt sell , and thats why im no longer being able to keep on the Butler.

It's all down to choice - I choose to have it on my listings as it's the easiest and most requested option.

Besides, I don't mind paying fees for a service that I receive. And that applies to any auction site, payment facility etc.
