Whilst I offer Paypoo on my auction sites, I have totally dispensed with it on my personal website and only use Google Checkout as a payment method, unless I can persuade buyers to use Bacs, cheques or postal orders. No Fees = more profit for fossy, especially as further down the line the Tax man has his share.

I wonder if the Tax men (or women ) ever worked for Feebay?

#49 - eb*y are the ones thats doing the destroying actually (with no morals or ethics or any loyalty to their customers either) - have you been reading the boards there recently - anyone who still lists there now must be khami khazi. I do not want to destroy (a bit exagerated) anything, however if eb*y did not exist everyone would be here in lovely ebid instead, and I am actually all for that.

All I have ever stated is that Poopay and eb*y are one and the same and I would not want them to make any profits from my ebid transactions. There are plenty of other payment options here (unlike you know where) so why not use the alternative payments as much as poss and let poopay/eb*y to take a hike.

I understand a lot have that payment system set up and like the devil they know, but I think that we will never have a competitor to eb*y unless its power is reduced and the best way to do that is not let them gain any profits from any other venues at all.

#57 - basically, it boils down to "Do you want to sell, or not?"

I sell on 3 different sites - I will not restrict my customers in any way, nor 'rate' one site above/below another - they all have their uses!

Incidentally - you could query why a lot of the 'newly arrived' have actually been ebid members for years, (if you'd like to be a bit 'controversial'!

Oh - and I also post on Q & A most days, if it's OK with you? You don't want to use their site, but that obviously doesn't apply to the boards??

Another effective way is to do all your buying away from the darkside, the more the sales depress over there the more incentive there is for sellers to move.
