Admirable sentiments,Littleme.I would agree that the auction patrol need some help.I've reported countless auctions for multi listing,even giving the auction id's of the others in the message window.They only delete the one reported though.

It may be that the site was put together in such a way that the admin can only be done in house, so outside workers just wont be an option. But we can but offer our services.
I'm sat here with a home office set up for our plumbing business we have 2 outside lines fax 8gb broadband 3pcs and a laptop and I work from home and theres always free time. I currently spend this time messing about on the net so it seems silly to me when it could be put to good use. I'm sure there are other members out there too who would be happy to help.

I get disheartened with the reporting thing too - it's better than the other place - my personal beef is fake designer stuff. It mostly gets removed when I report it (I'm becoming a LV geek and I hate the stuff), but I would like to see some sellers removed when all they do is list fakes.

well, John, I think it is a question of joining one of the livelier groups and adding the right sort of pictures - my pictures tend to get views so long as I post to suitable crafty groups and ones full of cute pet pictures. I include reference to ebid whenever it is appropriate and hope that just mention of the name will help.

I agree with you little me there are a lot of longstanding members who would do a lot to help G&M with the site and infact have over the last 6 years or so one way or another

Have you tried the more direct approach of an e-mail? Maybe G&M haven't seen the thread.
