Just a quick note to say I closed my ebay shop earlier tonight so I can 100% concentrate on Ebid.

It feels good to do so and it kind of happened on the spur of the moment, I hadn't planned to do it for at least a couple of months.

I imagine all the comedians who read blogs and such will think it's fun to go on fleeBay now and cause a stir, no skin of their nose. Just makes even more of a mockery of fleeBay.

Don't know about that mate got a fair few listings yes, sold about 15 records, just waiting for some auctions to finish then i can get paid and and send them off , then the ole feedback will zoom up a bit lol, think it was just the big boys coming in and gettin what they want cheap, which i dont mind as it aint cost me nowt anyway , anyway covered my joining fee and some ;-), so as i dont rely on it as a living, it's not realy a problem for me if the stuff just sits there forever , so really i've only just had the two buyers lol .

Good luck! Hope it goes well for you. Am closing mine shortly as things finish, but will still have to list there unfortunately as no-one seems to need swimwear on eBid!? LOL!

I closed my shop on fleebay yesterday and like you feel relieved.
It is sad really because I used to enjoy my time there and built up a good regular customer base . I have a 100% feedback over there and high stars etc but I just don't agree with how they are treating sellers. etc etc. I closed mine on the spur of the moment too. I thought that I might keep going until September maybe but I have had enough of greedbay.
Anyway I am putting my energy into Ebid now and feel optimistic.
