what are you guys all doing for the summer hols?

My kids finished school on Friday so am tring to think uploads of cheap thing to do to keep the little gems occupied so they do not kill each other lol

lots of bike rides I think to tire them out, any other suggestions gratfully received cheers

But I suppose I'll have to mind my grandson (5) for the odd day here and there!

If it stays dry, let them build a tent in the garden - old curtain or sheet and bamboo canes tied up with string - if it gets really hot let them sleep in it too
(Depends how old they are/where you are/how secure your garden is, of course.)

We don't have to stick to school holidays any more but we have booked a flat in Edinburgh for a week - so we can have a theatrical binge at the Fringe.. again. Cheap? no! but is it worth it? Yes! The best holiday ever!

Take them to our caravan for a few days, I have a YDC auction for it, or if you near moray firth, I could do a swop. I am in need of going there soon.

Been to Africa and turkey this year, hoping to go somewhere in august, then in november going to Goa, never been there, so if anyone has what's it like and what kind of .things would you take for the needy children, when I go to Africa I take trainers, a few toys, lots of pencils and sharpeners and some paper, also some clothing, bought a family a generator. It is why I do these auctions, I have been told there are a lot of raggedy, needy children in India, so any information would be apreciated. if i don't get back to you streaight away it's cos I am at work and something may have come up.

Am in America right now coming back home tomorrow, cheap holiday as we are staying with relatives, am suppose to be going to Australia around November time but not sure if thats gonna happen yet, another cheap holiday just the cost of the flight for that one
