    Linda, I also am keeping in prayer that the auction goes well this weekend;

Ava, Peggy, Linda; I believe I finally gave EVERYTHING to God to handle. Any issues I have or should I say HAD; speaking those things as though they were There's a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I've always had this un explainable and crazy to others faith in everything I do and it's just the past few months things seemed to have just piled up so much so, I took it on my shoulders instead of giving it to God; it was strange for me to be in that place of no peace... I don' t like it one bit!!

So, while I was reading a book on prosperity, it hit me! I'm obedient for the most part when it comes to my fnances; as little as it is now; but that's where it starts... the little things so God can belss us with much more! Sowing seeds in others' lives is like breathing; I just do it because God says so. What an amazing and easy thing to do!!! So simple but so many of us miss that, don't we?!! Sowin seeds of your time is another; very simple.. nothing too complicated, no formulas, just do it.

Then I thought of you all; the seeds of your time on this thread means so much to others [especially me]. May God bless each of you an hundred fold return on your giving of your time.

Will 'see' you all soon. Have a great rest of the sunday

    Praise the Lord!!

It was rainy and cold at noon on Friday when the family that was working at the auction site took a lunch break, we built a fire in the wood stove in a shop, and prayed before eating. I ask for sunshine, dry weather, and harmony as we continued to work. We ate, shivered, visited and went back outside to sunshine, no rain and we worked with renewed energy!

Saturday started out cool but warmed nicely by the time the sale started at 10 AM. We had a big crowd since the farmers couldn't work due to the rain yesterday. We finished about 4 PM and it started getting cooler. The family had to stay around to help load so we ordered pizza. A niece went into town (9 miles) to pick it up and 20 of us gathered in the shop and had a good time talking as well as eating.

I think I could write a book about our family adventures ending with what we have gone through in the last 60 days. My father-in-law never threw anything away, it took him 90 years to gather up all of this "stuff" and it took from 2 to 7 of us working almost everyday except Sunday for the last 60 days to sort and move it out!

Thank you so much for your prayers and concerns, God bless you and may all of our lives return to normal (whatever that is).

Sofia, I'm so glad to see everything has taken a turn for the good in your life. The following thought is one that has helped me, don't feel like I am pointing a finger your way, just something I seem to be reminded of from time to time.

Isn't it something the way we have to give the closets as well as the rooms of our heart to God. He isn't happy if we hide things away and try to take care of them ourselves!

Linda ----- How true that is and what I have found is that often the things we try to hide in the closet was really nothing until we decided to try to take care of them ourselves which seemed to work like fertilizer and they grew so out of hand.

Glad your weekend seemed to go well and glad we could join in prayer for you.

Sofia ----- Praise the Lord for your willingness to let Him see to your struggles. Glad you were able to lay them on His shoulders as nothing is to heavy or big for Him to handle if we will give it over to Him.

I am glad to have been able to join in the sowing seeds with this group but, Sofia, had you not listened to God and started this thread I would probably never have had the opportunity. Thank you so much as sometimes the little things go together to make a much bigger thing.

Ava ----- You seem to have a special gift for saying things and I enjoy so much the blessings I get from them.

Thank you all so much for caring.

Good morning everyone! I feel very encouraged by everyone's post since my last visit. Sophia, you just keep on keeping on, the Lord will do the rest. It's good to see you increasing in strength and peace with each post. Linda I'm glad to hear that your weekend went well, and that God is continuing to bless your family as you come together for a unified purpose. I had the opportunity to spend time with my children this weekend, and I was very aware of just how important family togetherness & fellowship is in our lives. Thank you Peggy for your kind words, I always appreciate your insight & comments that you share with us all.
I am definitely seeking the place called "back to normal", while I'm waiting for it to arrive, I'll just lay my head on Jesus's chest. :-)

An elderly woman had just returned to her home from an evening of church services, when she was startled by an intruder. She caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables and yelled:
    'Stop! Acts 2:38!'
(Repent and be Baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins may be forgiven.)

The burglar stopped in his tracks.

The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done.
As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar:
'Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture to you.'*

'Scripture?' replied the burglar. 'She said she had an Ax and Two 38s!'*

Knowing scripture can save your life - in more ways than one!

That is a good one Peggy! Is that a true story? Don't Think Me Dense To Ask!
If it's a true story; it's all the greater! You are right in that knowing scripture can be a real life saver! :-)

    Hi Ava,
Believe me I don't think you are dense and to be honest I don't know. It was an email sent to me and I thought it had a little humor and some food for thought so decided to share it. Sorry I really should have said so when I posted it.
    Blessings,
    Peggy

    Hi All:
I just came out of a thread by Shezz titled "((Hugs)) For Buttons & Bows" ; some or all of you may know her. I don't know if she is a Christian, but I told her I would be praying for her along with others. She found out today she has cancer. Others in the post said they were going to pray, but I was speaking about you all.

Can all who know buttons or feel impressed to do so, go by the thread & leave a word of encouragement. Also can we lift buttons in unified prayer expecting God to move in her difficult situation.

I actually accepted Christ as my personal Savior after seeing His healing power; I saw miracle(s) of healing while I was not a Christian; and I thought to myself that I wanted to serve a God of power and might. I called the 700 Club for prayers for a family member, and the counselor perceived that I was not a Christian. She prayed with me for my salvation, but took it an additional step by praying that God himself would reveal to me His reality for 7 days. HE DID! So it is important to pray for anyone who needs it, if it is in our spirit to do so, because you never know what God has planned for another person's life.
