Magnifying the LORD with a shabach praise! Thank you LORD for being a God who hears the prayers of your people.

Thanking you LORD for changing the path of Hurricane Irma in the Sunshine State of Florida. You shifted Irma's anticipated paths from the spine of the state, and then from the anticipated east coast to the west coast of the state.

The path shifting has resulted so far in Hurricane Irma's loss of strength from a category 5 to 4 to 3, and now to a category 2 hurricane. Reports of loss of life were none reported & 3 reported in Florida. Thank you LORD for continuing to minimize loss of life from this very dangerous storm.

LORD we continue to ask that you be with all the individuals, families, and communities impacted by storms, who have lost loved ones, property, and peace of mind. Bless them with your peace that passes all understanding. Thank you LORD for being a God who hears and answers prayers, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

    Yes, Amen.

With Hurricane Irma downgraded further to a tropical storm when exiting Florida and heading towards Georgia, now the grisly work of clean up, restoring power and services, and rebuilding begin. My prayers are also with those who will be aiding the storm and other elements of nature impacted communities. The elements: earth, wind, fire, water.

Remembering the victims of the 911 attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the airplane that went down in Pennsylvania. God comfort the families, friends, and individuals who are involved in remembrance services today.

Praying for the Carolinas, Alabama, and Georgia, who were impacted by flooding and loss of power from Tropical Storm Irma.

Continuing to pray for Florida, where lack of power is impacting more than 12 million people. Prayers also continue for the Caribbeans. St. Thomas and St. John in the Virgin Islands were very devastated by Hurricane Irma. They are reportedly feeling trapped by their circumstances, needing help, but seeing no help. LORD give them your peace; and marshall the needed help they are seeking.

LORD continue to be with those who have been impacted by this storm. Strengthen those who have been sent to help, encourage them as they go about this challenging task. I ask these things in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    A Psalm

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. [Psalm 40:1-3 NIV]

    A Psalm

Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning...I lay my request before you and wait in expectation. (Psalm 5:1-3 NIV)

    A Psalm **Isaiah

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the LORD more than they that watch for the morning... (Psalm 130:5-6 KJV)

"...they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31 KJV)
