    Hi All,

I was looking in the KT and saw where Rednosty is very low and could use some help. He has had distressing news concerning his autistic son Adam. If you should feel led to, please pray for him and his family. Both of his children have special needs so that family can use a lot of support.

    Blessings,
    Peggy

I feel like this can't be true, but I know that God can turn a situation around 360 degrees. Praise the Lord!
    Hi Ava,
I had made a post following your posting and it seemingly has disappeared but I want you to know I agree with your Praise to the Lord. He says he will furnish our needs but sometimes He gives us so much more. I am glad to see your good news and thank you for sharing it with us.

    Have a wonderful day,
    Peggy

    woo hoooooooooooo Obama won!!!!

I was up all night watching it unfold; missing my family in America; I rang my sister after 1 am or so and we watched it 'together'....

History has been made!! I pray along with countless others that the new president will bring America positive changes that will affect not just America but the rest of the world and put behind us so much negativity in the past 8 years.

Thank you Linda, Peggy & Sofia:
I have been busy trying to clear up things before I start working! I must admit I am going to miss my freedom (time wise), but definitely need the funds. I believe we would all like to be total entrepreneurs, but eBid & other venues aren't totally enough yet.

Peggy, I am sorry to hear about Red's kids, I didn't see the thread, but I will keep him & his family in my prayers. I know it is hard when things go wrong for our children.

Sofia, I sure hear your excitement concerning Obama winning! I must admit I was not excited by the prospect of either candidate. However, I know I have a responsibility to pray for our leaders. The USA & other nations of the world are having such problems that I will give my support to Obama as President Elect & pray that he is able to bring a diverse people to the table for the good of the nation and the world.
P.S. Speaking of excitement, I can almost picture you "dancing for the Lord" ; I like the way you express excitement, as I am very conservative (although I was dancing in my spirit for sure). I quess diversity is what makes the world go round.

I am trying to understand your excitement but fail to see why someone (anyone) who thinks abortion is okay is upheld by Christians.

I'm afraid of what is in store for America and hope and pray that I am wrong.

I keep thinking of the people following Moses in the wilderness. God kept showing them where they were wrong but they continued doing what they wanted.

Sorry if I am offending anyone but I too am passionate about my convictions.

    Hi Linda:
The reason I stated I was not excited about either candidate included issues on abortion. Obama voted to block the President's veto on partial birth abortion; and from my understanding he supported terminating the life of newborn from botched abortion. Please correct me if I am wrong; this is one time where I hope I am wrong. I am strictly an issues voter. External appearances, charisma, media hype, etc. have absolutely no effect on my decisions when voting. I also had a problem with McCain on this issue. He is too wishy washy on the issue; in a sense that's even worse. I believe his wishy washy stands on various issues cost him this election. However, since Obama won the election I do feel it is my responsibility to support him as my President and to pray for him.

    I agree with you (mostly).

One problem I have always had with politics is we forget we live in a demoracy, which means the majority rules. So eventhough I don't agree I am obligated to pray for the leaders and give support as long as I do not have to compromise my convictions.

Hi everyone, I wish I could share in Sofias excitement, but I fear what is in store for us now. I too hate that he is for Abortion and I also hate the fact that by "spreading the wealth" he is going to throw us into socialism. Besides raising taxes, he is also going to put such a high tax on guns and ammunition that no one will be able to afford to buy them. I live in the south where hunting is a prime sport, I fear that will cease. But more than that, for us older folks that remember the past, this sounds shockingly familiar. But I remember also, that the Lord tells us in the Bible that there is not a Power in the land that He hasn't placed there. For whatever reson, that only He knows. I fear too that Obama was elected purely out of emotion, rather than ability. But as someone said, we live in a Democracy, and the people have voted. God Bless the USA, but more than that I pray that the USA Bless God. Gramma
