I'm stuck in the middle of an Identity theft crisis.
Ebid won't delete my my account because they don't recognise my new email address - I don't want to give them my new email address because I don't know where the ID theft attack came from. I can't get email at my old email address because it's cancelled.

Quick result is to change all your personal details to something fake.

I'm reassured ebid won't delete an account unless they have a valid email address where they can confirm with the account holder. If you aren't willing to give them a contact email address how can they delete the account?

On a positive note i've been here 3 years and bever heard of any identity theft case involving ebid The usual suspect is paypal which unfortunatly has some internal staffing issues!

Be carefull to delete an ebid account. I did, & now having trouble at trying to get ebid to let me open one. Once an account is closed, ebid will not let you create a new account.
