Thread: Does anyone collect vintage toys & Games

Default Does anyone collect vintage toys & Games

Just wondered if it is worth while maybe listing some vintage toys and games that i have in my collection that I no longer wish to keep.
Or are the majority of buyers only into the latest hi tech toys?

I have listed one game so far, but no lookers

Hi, what makes it vintage ? How many years does it have to be ? Thanks

I don't believe there's a hard and fast rule. I would say vintage is to do with an era. Eg 1950s vintage or 60's vintage. Something that is not up to date.

Just go for it - no listing = guaranteed no sale. Vintage toy collectors tend to scour the net so a listing that qualifies for the google uplift would be good.

We've got a lot of die-cast stuff that you can't let the children play with now so I'll be listing as and when I have the time to take the pics.

There is a huge market for vintage from that period here in the U.S..
    Give it a shot.

Vintage can cover many era's, for example, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's, although Star Wars from the 70's and 80's is refered to as "vintage", most 70's and 80's items are also refered to as "retro" as well in some cases.

I wish that would work on my mobile but unfortunately there are no free games for Nokia 6230i
